Data Access / server log files

We (or our web space provider) collect data about each access to the website (so-called server log files). The access data includes:

  • name of the website accessed
  • name of the downloaded files (if necessary)
  • date and time of access
  • transferred data volume
  • status messages about the result of the access (ok, rejected or others)
  • type and version of browser used
  • operating system type and version used
  • so-called Referral URL (the previously visited page)
  • user’s IP address and the provider

We use the logs only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of our service. However, we reserve the right to subsequently check the logs if there is a justified suspicion of illegal use based on concrete evidence. The data will not be passed on to third parties. Normally these logs are deleted after 90 days, but in case of a court order or suspicion of misuse the logs are stored as long as necessary for clarification. This data collection and processing is permissible according to Article 6, Paragraph I lit f EU-DSGVO. The interests of the website visitor in not processing his data are less serious than our interest in making this website secure and functional for all users.
